Configure Joooid Component on Joomla 3.0/2.5

1. Install the Joooid component

Download the component in the download area.

Go to your Administrator Panel,

click on Extension Manager from the Extensions Tab :

Click on the Browse button and choose the Joooid package you've downloaded from the download area, then click on Upload File & Install.

2. Enable the plugins

Go to the plugin manager in the Extensions tab :

Search for "joooid" in the filter form and enable "Joooid Content" and "Joooid XMLRPC".

3. Check if everything worked

Click on Components in the Administrator Tab :

check if both Joooid-Content and Joooid-XMLRPC pugins are enabled:

Login with Joooid Application

Once you have done all previous configuration you can create an account in Joooid and connect to your Joomla website. In the main application panel click Login then then select your Joomla version (2.5/1.5), enter your Joomla url (eg."http://www.yourjoomlasite.com" or "http;//www.yoursite.com/joomladir" if your joomla installation is not in the website root) username and password , then click create account.

Joooid Component/Plugin Url parameter (IMPORTANT)

This is the regular Component/Plugin url for Joooid component, it's the default value in the login manager, if your don't have any SEO settings enabled you should use this url:

index.php?option=com_joooid
(Search Engine Friendly URLs set to NO, URL Rewrite set to NO)

If you have enabled SEO settings in Site -> Global Configuration you should write the Component/Plugin url when creating your account like this :

/index.php/component/joooid
(Search Engine Friendly URLs set to YES, URL Rewrite set to NO)

/component/joooid
(Search Engine Friendly URLs set to YES and URL Rewrite set to YES)


if you have multilanguage enabled remember to add in the url the main language prefix (eg for en-GB put the /en prefix in the Component/Plugin url) :

(Search Engine Friendly URLs set to YES and default language to en-GB)

Joooid supports even https connections and http authentication you can configure those parameters in the login tab. You can also configure Joooid endpoint url in case you have connection issues related to seo components or you are using particular url rewriting rules.
